Bottom Deal - Richard Turner

Postby cardshark101 » Aug 6th, '15, 07:35

Hi

I was wondering if some one can provide some tips on Richard Turner See Saw bottom deal.

I got his dvds and can see the movement action in detail but i am trouble having two things;

1- What grip does he use? It looks much like marlo's master grip but i am not sure
2- There is no knuckle flash, for this he pulls his fingers back and then extends them. I am not sure how to do that

your comments much appreciated
thanks

I really cannot help you with his technique because I'm not great at it myself. My first question to you however is how long have you been working at this? I only ask because sometimes we forget the work and time that goes into this type of 'artistry' The type of work that Richard Turner does is a life time of accumulating knowledge on the subject and constant practice and performance. I'm not talking weeks or months. Literally I'm talking years.

thanks bmat
my problem is, if i can not understand a movement, i am unable to start practicing it. I just tried this technique a couple of times and can not get a hang of the grip. I am can not pull my fingers back as a see saw action like he mentioned. it seems to be impossible.

i know richard turner is a real treat to watch and his work really looks like magic. I like his bottom deal because he can perform it by having his left hand dead on the table and still deals bottoms. i know this can not be achieved even in months and years but i really wanna learn this techniques as it seems to be superior.
