i have just realised a brilliant magic effect and a way to do it using modern technology.
would be abit pricey though.

Effect
you hold one card, the back facing the spectators. you have one spectator selected.
you say only this "name any card"
they name ace of hearts for example.
you reveal the cards value and suit, it matches the named card.
works every time.

Sounds interesting, but modern technology is an issue. Try turning it around this way. Have the magician hold the card as you said. Have the spectator write down the card he is thinking. Turn the card around showing it too all, and only then have the spectator reveal his thought of card.

Either way, could be interesting.
