Scumbags - let's hope this goes viral and we catch them :)

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

It seems after the power of social media, and the amount of attention from fellow magicians, a person has been identified ? This is according to the magician who was stolen from.. But being a gentleman he did say that the person/thief, needs no more punishment, as he must by now be feeling a bit shamed, and rather foolish, to say the least..

MEMBER OF THE SHEFFIELD CIRCLE OF MAGICIANS.
Is magic really real ??

That's very gentlemanly of Dave but, to be honest, a thief is a thief and really ought to pay for his underhanded activities, I'm reasonably sure part of the terms and conditions of getting access to the Festival is that any criminal activities will result in being banned? Perhaps I'm just not in a forgiving mood! At least his face and general build will be recognisable and as for that very stripy tee shirt..... :D

Hang on, there's a second light fingered ratbag on the next vid - let's hope he gets caught as well, thieving little sod!!!

Apparently, 2 people have been identified.

If you're on facebook, look here:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/magicia ... highlights

Copied from the above link:

The guy who stole the plus wallet using the magazine to cover the theft has been identified by over 200 people as Ali Nouira, a French magician and dealer and creator of Steam 2.0

Seriously .... are you having a laugh ??
I was actually contemplating purchasing steam 2.0 .... this guy has just lost a sale .... and his reputation !!

and:

The second magician has been identified by over 60 people as Damian Smith, a british magician

Most magicians are nicer than the average guy in the street, but these scum are bottom of the barrel, all dealers should not buy any more stocks of Steam 2,

Did either of these people admit to the theft? I did see the video a couple of weeks ago before it was taken down but concluded that it wasn't really evidence. It was suspicious certainly but I don't think conclusive. He may have been putting the item back. I haven't seen the second video yet so can't comment on that.

I just don't like condemning someone with scanty evidence and jumping to the wrong conclusion. If he has confessed fair enough-but if not I would like to see a bit more evidence before I am fully convinced.

I understand they have both admitted it.
