the butterfly effect

Postby lotusteve » Jan 23rd, '17, 10:18

i have just purchased the butterfly effect by peter nardi. love the effect..
on the alakazam site there is quite a few reviews on the trick but one of the reviews mention using a cipher deck to do the trick.
i also own a cipher deck and know how to use the numbered deck but like to know how to do the butterfly effect using my cipher deck
does anyone know how i would do this.
thanks steve.

Just to clarify here, TM policy says the way to respond is to point Steve in the direction of where he can find/buy suitable routines rather than pass on the secrets.

I'm confused. You own the butterfly effect and you own a cipher deck yet you can't put the two together on your own? Nope, sorry sounds just to suspicious to me.

I don't know the tricks myself or if I do I'm not familiar with them by name
but it sounds like you are saying if you know A and if you know B then C
should be common sense.
In which case it does sound fishy.
I was dubious the moment I first saw the post the other day.

Funnily enough, I have just purchased the Butterfly Effect. It is a thing of beauty. I had to go through the routine three times before I could believe that it would come out right every time. I am seldom disappointed with anything that comes along with Peter Nardi's name on it. As for the originator of this post, why do ye need a cipher deck to do this...?

the butterfly effect uses a number between 1 and 13 on each turn of a card to count down the pak... the cipher deck uses card 1 to 50 odd. so if the spec turns a high numbered card in the first 3 cards the effect will not work.. IE 32-20-18.. why did my question seem suspicious ?.
