I hear what you are saying, but at the start of the routine the "newness" of the deck is a positive feature. You can talk about many different card systems have been used in the past for psychic research....but now, finally a nice clean card that is made black on one side to ensure once and for all that no one can see through the paper. " etc etc

I think a psychic, mind synchronising patter is best. Say that you have been practicing, but some of the guesses might be wrong etc. Even deliberately mis-read to make it seem plausible.

One of the routines, it would seem that the spectator predicted YOUR card !! Thats a great one for implying that with a bit of concentration we all have abilities :-)

I don't think you'll be disapointed, good luck with them. Just practice with the marking system so you don't have to concentrate for too long (though that's probably not a bad way to do a routine)

I have had this a while and magic monkey kept going on about them how good they was. But I never really played around with them then the man Bronz told me that they was very good too, when he saw monkey use them so today I dug them out and started to learn the marking system etc. I know I am going to have a lot of fun with these. Sometimes a trip to your magic draw is better then going to the magic shop

And the bonus is that you can get refills of the deck so happy days. I like these and the routines included a lot once I get my refill I shall order the Submodalities to go with them.

Top marks from all round.

I've been looking at having a play with some ESP type stuff lately and these look like a very good place to get started. Very nice review too by the way :D

I was also impressed with the general quality of the 'bundle' that comes with this trick, but did find the marks a little hard to read when I first got the set.

I think this thread has convinced me to go back to the draw and have another go with these and maybe put some more time in.

One other thing - mine share the classic USPCC problem of being printed off straight, and I do sometimes wonder if people may see the uneven borders as some kind of hint. Anyone got any thoughts on this?

I am seeing a few people mention that the necessary is a little hard to see.
In fairness I thought this too at first.
With practise you willl have no problem identifying the markings, and a lot less practise than many other card effects you will have spent hours in front of a mirror perfecting.

Put it this way, if it were any more obvious they wouldn't be half as good.

or to put it another way, if you are at all interested in this kind of thing and do not own a set yet, then you really should get some.

There are some incredibly strong effects to be done with them, use wisely.

not a fan of sigs, so I won't bother adding o..... oh

As an add on to the BESP2 cards, I suggest having a look at Alan Strydom's Simple ESP Readings...he has some really clever ideas.

Great deck for xcm too

Well it was because of Monkey I started to play with them , give the marking system half hour or so and you will pick it up. In the book it says the marking may be learnt by some in a couple of seconds while others may take a while. I find the red deck easier to read for some reason.

The marking system becomes a little easier when you realise the finer points of it. Such as, the first is always in only 2 of a possible 4 options. the second are always together. The third always have the missing one in only 2 of a possible 4 options.
If you have the cards you might know what I'm talking about.
hope that doesn't give anything away.

However, one of my cards is scuffed quitebad. lotsof white marks over the back and looks like its had a pin to it!! I doubt Ill be able to use this in performance. Ill have to see if I can get it replaced

Other than that, I like this deck a lot and I think that I will get some good mileageout of it
