Some of the other BB that are around use a MANA system that allows users to reward other users for usefull posts and things like that, building up a reputation for the most helpfull users.

Well, I don't know if it's possible but it seams feasible that one could create access restrictions based on the rating - e.g. you need at least one point from the Intro forum (by posting an introduction and having someone reply to it) to get into the rest. Or, you couldn't create a new post (just reply) 'till say, 10 points.

That might discourage new users, but seems to me it would definitely reduce the trolls...

Users with less than say 10 points, would be unable to send PM's!
