Isn't it simply the difference between price and value?

Something that costs £1,000 pounds is pricey. It may be invaluable to a stage performer who does a lot of shows.

£100 is not a small amount of money to most people, so I'd say it's a fair comment that the SAW is pricey.

However, it is a very useful item and, in my opinion, worth the money.

Something for which you pay £5 is poor value, if you never use it.

Thanks part-timer - phoned Peter and there was a slight mix-up on the order (I think my CUPS has overloaded their system in recent months).

Anyway, it arrived this morning - my day off - so I have some serious dvd viewing to do.

quick overview on the dvds

it comes with 2 dvds with a introduction to the stealth assassin and couple routines. i'll write a full review later im writing a paper right now. they even said so that some tricks they will not go over alot and requires you to rewind, but most of the other routines they go over in great depth and you hear about their stories of how they performed it. m not complaining since it came with the stealth assassin for free, but it seems to me that you should have a basic knowledge of wallets before picking this up.

the routines also allow you to think of your own routines too.

FULL REVIEW later

Er, anyone get a manual with theirs?
I just have the dvds which is fine, until you want to visit the official forum. The password is on page seven of a seemingly non-existent manual!

So why not just phone Peter Nardi at Alakazam?

Well I'll ask him when I see him next week, oh defensive one! :D

Wasn't after a password from anyone - just curious if my wallet was missing a manual or not.

Sounds to me like it is. Sorry if I sounded defensive or even offensive - it wasn't meant to be, it just seemed silly to mention it here when a phone call would no doubt get you the manual sent in the post.

No offence and point taken - was just browsing the thread and wondering aloud, if that's possible on a forum!

Besides, I need to get my post count up cos then they'll let me access all THE SECRETS!!

Hi Guys

There is no manual its all explained on the very informative 2 dvd set that comes with the wallet, featuring a new double act in mentalism Nardi & Spelmann.

If you watch dvd 2 at the end of the disc the forum is mentioned including the password to get into the S.A forum.

Its a forum only open to owners of the S.A the idea being that you can exchange routines etc with other owners at present there a 30 registered users/owners on the S.A forum.

If you are on owner of the wallet and are havings problems registering etc call Peter at Alakazam & I am sure he will sort out access for you to the forum.

But remember its owners only.

Hope this helps!

Cheers

Aha! Thanks Roman - I've only watched the first disc so far. They just need to update the website to clarify things.

The new double act in mentalism
Having heard one of their phone conversations from Peter's end, so to speak, I'd have to agree - and there's definitely a bit of Tommy Cooper in the mix too.

I'm seriously thinking about adding my name to the next batch of these wallets that come along.

I've been wanting to buy a wallet for some time & from this topic this wallet seems to be the bees knees.

Any chance someone can do an actual review & maybe an idea of the routines provided. Also how much sleight is involved, my palming is a thing of great openess :(

Cheers anyone :)
