Hey! I can make a rubber band jump from one finger to another!

The description is inaacurate really. The word visibly shouldn't have been used.

I think the effect is interesting, but weak.

I think it's as visible as it gets! As you're set up for the final move, you can even allow them a last little glimpse of the ring still on the ring finger... before covering for a second and it's gone right through.

Honestly, I've had some amazing reactions from this. From the 'how the f***" to my personal favourite... simple stunned silence... However I usually do this as an impromtu little trick when I'm out drinking. Tends to go down a treat. Maybe not a great item for a WP...

Always remember... It may seem obvious to you... but you know how it's done. Simple things are often the best!

I do agree it doesn't really work as a full routine... however worked into a ring routine, can be astounding. How about right after you've done a ring flight or something... you can create a phoney explanation and show a demonstration of it on your fingers! Of course you can't use their ring, as your fingers are too big and bulky... =oP

Down the pub with chums, who've had a few, then this effect would get a response, but I don't think it's strong or impressive enough for a gig you're getting paid decent money for.
You are right when it's as visual as it can possibly get, but for me the effect is not that visual. When you cover your hand, showing only your fingers, it's obvious you're "doing something" and it's a sleight that you can't hide.
The difference with card sleights and such is that you can use misdirection when executing a pass or suchlike, but as the focus must be on your hand at all times during this effect it reduces itself from being 'magic' to you doing something whilst your hand is covered.

Each to their own, but I prefer visual effects or ones where you have the opportunity yo use some misdirection. This is neither and very disappointing.

That's when I usually perform magic. It always seems to get the best response for me when I'm sat unprepared and then perform out of nowhere.

I don't wear a ring though and I feel like they stick out when I'm wearing one, I supposed I'd just have to get used to it.

The Wizard PK ring looks quite a lot like the ring supplied with effect.
Just a suggestion for you there.
