Easy - the swine passed his CUPS onto me

He now lives vicariously through my insane drive to buy everything he tells me, "looks awesome" (which is pretty much everything ever reviewed here :x ).

If he keeps this up much longer, my wife says I'll have to move in with him

Well.. it was a sort of inner spiritual journey really.

You see.. CUPS ins Compulsive UNCOTROLLABLE purchasing syndrome.

Well.. I still spend money.. its just not uncontrollable.. I control how much I want to spend, what I want to buy.. so I have PSTIC.. Purchasing syndrome thats in control.

Besides.. I figure.. If I want to buy something.. I have to make at least 75% on the money from selling something I have..

So I have been ebaying it up and spending the profits.. in a way.. recycling magic :D if its not coming out of my bank account.. its not really my money is it

Sadly no. There's partial relief of symptoms when buying more magic but sooner or later CUPS returns. I've stopped fighting it and, in the words of the great McD's, I'm lovin' it  .

Ok I have to join in this brotherhood having finally come to the realisation that I do indeed suffer this affliction known as CUPS. I was sure sure I had it all under control.

I've been studying diligently the work taught in RRTCM, Mark Wilsons Complete Course and Art of Astonishment having gone through the phase some time ago of buying lots of packet tricks and the like.

But it's not enough! My magic book collection grows all the time adding in gems such as Bobo, Nelms, Otis and Lorayne. As too does my DVD collection recent additions include Still Fancy a Pot of Jam, Covert Magic and the Cullfather (I have over 50 DVD's all originals)

What is fueling this? as with all things I like to have quality products, I have a high disposable income but don't quite earn enough to buy a house in an area I aspire to live so seeing the great reviews here for products such as Relic (led to buying scorpion, widowmaker, kioku and sanctum) the Workeroo amongst many others I feel I have to buy them as I can buy them.

I'm beyond buying things that sit in the draw and never get used and don't get into debt buying this stuff but surely there is a limit? It must end sometime! I'm even hoping to arrange a meeting in London so I can see magic being preformed by professionals.

In July I've bought the following

Workeroo
WOW
Still Fancy a Pot of Jam
Connected on DVD - I already had the ebook
Cullfather
50' Rope
masters time machine
lots of outlaw products
Interlace arrived this month but may have ordered it last month
Harry Lorayne - The magic book
Scarne on card tricks
VIP tickets for Blackpool
Alkazar

Ok I feel better

I'm still thinking on 2two faced and Lady bug
