Magic cakes sound decidedly, um, "Dutch" in origin, as in, "Crikey! Are those really my feet?" etc.

My..My fingers are bending!

Has any CUPS suffer's thought of having a seperate saving account for their magic. Transfer X amount each week or month and just use that. It may work

Lol, my feet are hard enough to recognise at the best of times, but rest assured these cakes are non-dutch :)

Oh god  I though magic would help me get away from this.

Goes to show how wrong I was....

I'm Valtam, and I suffer from multiple causes of CUPS. Namely, anything that is limited edition, comes in a boxset, or starts (now adds to) some sort of collection, I will buy

And I thought magic would be a release from this after spending ridiculous amounts of money on collecting nintendo goods, just as I thought I was getting over it, you get me back on it again.

Why did nobody tell me this

(jokes aside - I really can't help buying things like that; I'm OK for a start, but once it is big enough to be considered a 'collection' I don't want to let go of anything that I've got. I've only just got around to selling some of my older collections on ebay.

Looks like I know what the money will be spent on - starting a new collection    )

Oooooh it's all gone to pot really.

I buckled under C.U.P.S pressure and have just had The Business DVD and Spooked delivered.
Due to my girlfriend probably ditching my ass once she finds out I spent 90 quid on two items I am now seeking a fellow C.U.P.S sufferer to share a two bedroomed flat in SE London.
I suppose my only hope is that she doesn't find out.

The best of luck. You will be fine, i am sure you can convince her it is a worthy investment.

By the way, have fun with Spooked, it really is a stunning routine

Can i give you a quick tip. Do as Nick say's in the DVD and watch it several times before attempting it. When you are confident you want to try to get three cards to jump out. People go mad when i do that.

Damn I fell off the wagon too. Despite having no money at all, the credit cards still work unfortunately.

Is it possible to justify a small closeup mat and a nylon wand? I thought so, and was so sure about it that I had to get a set of thimbles too.

Nothing wildly unnecessary or outrageous, but it's started the buying ball rolling again, and I can feel myself being drawn to something frivolous like the subterfuge magic system.

I know if I get it, I'll look at it once, play with it for a day, then never ever use it, but it does look nice. Maybe I can hold off until the credit card bill scares me off.

Yes hang on in there fella.

Just look at me. Maxed out credit cards, took out a loan to clear them, just spent 90 quid on a certain magic website and now may be facing a right royal whooping by the missis.

Saying that though I still cant wait to get home and get cracking on Spooked. I could wet myself in anticipat......oooh dear I just have
