C.U.P.S

Postby greedoniz » Mar 2nd, '06, 13:51

Not sure whether anyone has suggested A C.U.P.S support group forum where we could sit around with mugs of coffee and stand up in turn admitting we have a problem.

"Hello my name is greedoniz and I have a C.U.P.S problem"

there could be lots of hugging, crying and a general support network where everyone has a sponsor who can be contacted in the event of someone falling off the wagon and going and buying 4 Jay Sankey products

I have thought of a slight snag to the idea though.

Is there anyone on this site who is either a recovering C.U.P.S sufferer or a cured one?? If not a load of C.U.P.S people in one place will just egg each other on.
You only have to read the review section of Talk magic to see what can happen when someone suggests something new is really good, Coin in soda can is a perfect example of how C.U.P.S can spread like wildfire.

It's ok Larry we understand and the first step to recovery is admitting there's a problem.

Everyone come a hug Larry....you are amongst friends here....sniff

The openess displayed in this forum touches my heart greatly. To know that I am with fellow magic C.U.P.S sufferers warms my cockles.
Let's hope that the sharing of feelings concerning this devasting illness helps all us who have suffered in silence up to now.

I think I need a hug and a pot of sweet tea

£50ish on magic supplies today. only felt "sleight"ly validated by the fact that the money i spent was birthday money. although it would have been better spent paying off a bit of overdraft

Close on £100 on Magic books in the last 3 days ..... but they're an investment, honest they are, Guv.
(Now all I have to do is work on my presentation/excuse for Mrs.M before the credit card bill arrives and all will be well. Pass that gin bottle please......) :?
