I managed somehow to almost conquor my CUPS.

The secret?

I have given myself a strict £30 limit of magic purchases per month and no longer keep my credit card in my wallet.

to be honest it has already reaped benefits as rather than looking for the new "thing" to buy I have been going back to RRTCM book and now have Art of Astonishment to go through (xmas pressie not a personal purchase).
I do expect another CUPS outbreak at some point. there isn't a cure just remission

Pull up a chair, have a cupcake and join the collective. just leave your credit cards, cheques and cash at the door.

Welll....I've heard rumours but thought I had it all under control...until yesterday...I knew I needed help...but...

It reached it's peak when I spent £150 whole english pounds on stuff I haven't got a clue how to use, but I have every intention of learning how to use it (at least part of the £150 was on a couple of books I've seen mentioned time and again on here RRTCM and Mark Wilsons Complete Course)

I was then went cold turkey for a few weeks before and during Christmas...then

I happened across TM (no offense) and in particular Mr Seige and NUMS (again no offense, it is a good service...anyhow...) looking at the site I decided I needed to buy some good quality cards...so...so...I did {sniff, sniff}

Then yesterday...I happened across a review for some bicycle vintage 1800's (now I'd been wanting a deck or two since I first saw them on ellusionist, couldn't be bothered waiting though! or with their postage) in that very review thread...Mr Seige mentioned he had them on special...I did well, I resisted for an hour (at most)...

at least I've only ordered one deck!!!

Bad news from Flashy's wallet; a week or so ago I lost a tt with a fiver in it.

Worse news from Flashy's wallet; I replaced it at NUMS and then went on a minor spending spree... Wizard PK Ring US version, The Wiz, shim sheet, sharpie and 3 extra tt's...

Curse you NUMS for tempting me off the CUPS wagon!!

I think I may have Cups too. :/

In the last 3 weeks i've bought:

Paper Clipped (£19.99)
NFW (£11.99)
ID (£5.99)
Bicycle Decks x 2 (£3)
Loops (£7.99)
Third Degree Burn (£32.99)
Misled (£11.99)
Barcode Revelation (£3.99)

Nearly £100 and there's still loads of stuff I want. :/
All worth it so far though. Especially Paper Clipped. Jay Sankey is a brilliant teacher and funny too.
Must also mention how good a service MagicBox has been. :)

Help me please!

LOL

I like how NUMS and Seige is rightly praised for the products on offer and the great service elsewhere on TM but in the C.U.P.S support forum he is quickly becoming the suppplier of the fuel of our addiction.

Add the following :

- Beyond ESP 2
- Haunted Deck
- Svengali Deck
- Karl Fulves Mental Magic

to the above post. But that's it. Nothing more for this month (even though the voices in my head say otherwise  )

PS: Good thing is that Februar only has 28 days

My CUPS problem has been reduced due to some websites only accepting Paypal or Amex/Visa none of which I have. So I can only buy from certain shops online.

I made my wife dissapear just by arguing with her!!!

I almost made it  I bought nothing for 2 weeks !
But yesterday I ordered the Rose from Deck, Haunted Key +booklet , a pack of regular Bicycle gaffed cards and a TT from NUMS.
The good think is that I'm using most of the stuff and started getting very good reactions. However I'm not confided enough to film something and show you
Now that "Thought Trasmitter" I saw on a recent review looks very promising...

beyond esp2 is great, I love it!
I had managed to mostly avoid cups episodes this year after an incredibly costly 2006 all the way up until yesterday when I just had to blow 30 quid at NUMS. I only wanted some RC!
oh well, here we go again.

not a fan of sigs, so I won't bother adding o..... oh
