Hi all - first post :D
I've just got the ID and have a question about its setup.
I can do the trick OK - no-one has guessed it at all.
But without giving too much away, I wanted to know if there are any other ways of setting it up. It's difficult to say exactly what I mean... only two suits visible..?
Would someone maybe like to help via PM or can set-ups be discussed?

Thanks..

Invisible

Does not sound like it is set up right. It should be organised by number and not suits, so you should have a mix of suits either side.

I combined mine with the RaMa deck last weekend, and it went down a treat. One spectator held the ID, the other stopped me randomly in the RaMa deck. Because of the RaMa deck, I know the selection and the find it face down in the Invisible. For those of you with the RaMA, I think this is called GFW, but I do it in a more straightforward manner.

ID on its own is great as well. I have done Brainwave for about 20 years, and the ID is really growing on me.

Actually, as SJW has described, the ID is SOMETIMES shiped in this order with only two suits showing. I would suggest that it's down to whoever has made up the deck and then packed it.

However, as Dr Todd correctly states, when you know the principle you can easily reverse some of the cards so that all of the suits are shown.

Thanks for the quick replies guys :)
Mine is with only 2 suits showing. To me it looks obvious but like I say, nobody's come close. 8)
Would anyone like to share other ways? When the trick was shown to me I am sure it just looked like a completely random set and I may have noticed this. Without wanting to give too much away, although you guys will know best, assume this would have to be by PM?
EDIT: thanks all :)

I have to disagree with you there. Best gimmick deck in my opinion is Stripper Deck, but i do like the Invisi deck still!

I was born with Multiple Personality Disorder. Luckily, they are all me, they just dont always get along...

Hi there,

I recently got hold of a 'Ghost' ID - My life has changed for ghosts!! Got to love those cards (can't really explain it!) To anyone who has the occaisional tendancy to lose a card this is a great out - I always leave this deck under my ciggies on the table so it's never produced randomly from my pocket - no questions asked then!!
I also sometimes pretend to have lost a card - ask the spec for the card - produce it from the ID then pull the origional (signed sometimes) card from THEIR pocket - a great opportunity to say 'no wonder I couldn't find it!' It can buy you time when needed!!

I agree this deck is very good.

I have moved away from it in favour of a different method with a standard deck that can be fully examined (well all but one card but they never ask to see that one).

The explanation can be found in the sticky blue book by Anthony Owen and friends along with other ideas.

This can be bought from Kaymar magic for £10.00 including the special stuff you need.

Got this deck yesterday and it really is a great trick (and mine shows all four suits). Shame about not being checkable but it is definitely worth the money IMO, can't wait to try it out on someone. 8)

This was the first trick I ever purchased from ellusionist and its a permanent fixture in my pocket. I use it mainly if i mess up a trick then ask the spectator what thier card was it blows them away when i spread the cards and thiers is the only one face down in the deck. Also I purchased Some Rspray definately worth the money. I bought the Black Tiger version and i havent bought another deck scince I just love the way the black tiger handles and looks under blacklightl.

Does the black tiger deck handle differently from the normal run of the mill bycycle deck, is the "reveal" easier on these? 'Cos like a lot of people I have problems with the reveal on the ID deck.

If my hands are dry I have difficulty revealing & if the hands are sticky then the reveal tends to happen in several places!!!

Never had any problems with the reveal from a tiger ID. I usually spread the cards on a table the lightly press to reveal the card, If you use a black light in your performance you can get away with a lot more than in normal light with the tigers.

I agree, it's a great trick and for me too, it was amongst things in my first order from Ellusionist. This is a trick you do slowly and before having the spectator returning the invisible card into the ID I'm holding, I pull my hands back and say: Wait a minute... let's make this interesting. And then I turn the ID face up and have the spectator put his invisible card into the deck face down. I find this makes the end of the trick smoother. I also drop the deck on the table before I start the trick, so it's in plain view all the time.
