A suggestion meant in the best and kindest way but how about updating the board completely?

Sleightgeek have a better board now, greenday.co.uk use the same type of board and no problems there. I know at this point I am the only experiencing persistent problems with this board but these will happen to others, magic bunny have the same kind of board as here and I have no probs whatsoever stayin logged in there or posting etc.

I WOULD BE PREPARED TO MAKE A FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTION TOWARDS THIS. As I hope would many of the regulars. These things aren't free after all and are no easy task but if we introduced a subscription area for magis at say 5 - 10 quid a year we can together ensure that noone has problems with the site. I offer here and now £15 towards it.

It is for discussion as to how a subscription area would work but I feel something akin to subscribing a nominal fee after invite to the secrets area is plausible. This does not mean everyone has to subscribe - jus that there could be a subscribers area etc.

Sorry to be a party pooper but such questions are academic as TM is owned by Laurence Jones who has updated and maintained it since day one - only he can consider and make these decisions and there's no point in asking for opinions.

The moderators are in touch with Laurence regularly and we are all aware that on occasions there have been problems and these have usually been fixed very swiftly. In the case of the log in/log out situation, as advised elsewhere, the Forum settings were checked and doubled checked earlier this week and nothing was found which could explain or assist with those problems so it's a mystery all round – especially as there are no similar problems reported from other members.
