Damn you Keith Hart! :D

Unfortunately, i have just spent the rest of my "fun" budget for this month on a ticket to a burlesque show tomorrow evening, then the rest of the night in a humidor...

oh and somehow, a stealth assassin wallet and a long weekend in Holland later this month...

thank you very much for the offer though, much appreciated...

Great review, just a few questions if you don't mind me asking.
Is the method used hard to detect?
Is it performed without prior knowledge as to what card the spectator has chosen?

no, you wont be able to detect any method which may or may not be used...

plus it depends on how you use it

as for the card...well, that was just an example...

e.s.p. deck/billet work would be the best way forward..

but well, dependant on the method of use, you will need some magic skills obviously...nothing that is difficult anyway...

Thanks. I have looked at their website and although I have not purchased anything from it before, I certainly will do. The stuff on there looks superb.

Sorry for asking too many questions, but is this trick performable on stage or surrounded?
I am really interested in getting it but need to make sure it's the right thing for the kind of venues I usually perform at.

Freddie,

The wee-ja board is quite small and in my opinion it is better suited to an intimate group, when you say "on stage" and in your usual venues, could you elaberate on this further please.

Yes it can be done surrounded.

I often perform at comedy/variety clubs where the audience are sometimes in front and at either side so I have to choose effects that fit those angles. Sometimes the shows at on a small stage in a pub.
I am almost sold on this one, it sounds superb.

Basically, if you're doing effects based round e.s.p. and similar and talk goes onto spirits and energies - things like that...then...

its a fine time to get up close and personal with a woman right next to you with your ahem wee-ja in hand...

its designed to fit in your palms, its roughly the size of a typical paperback...

empathy, draculea, power of tarot (they use my favourite tarot deck actually)...they're may favourite three so far...

get yourself a psycho deck too if you havent already...

then there's the change bags, the cut-throat razor...lordy, his site does give you greedy eyes...

and for even further creepiness - it all comes from the scots island where they filmed the original Wicker Man...

can't get much better than that can you...i've already got myself a little list ready of what i want next month...

I have the Psycho Deck and change bags, and was reading through and practising Damnation last night along with the Curse of the Black Death.

I do like loads of stuff on the site, but I have allready promised to buy myself Banachecks Psi series next month, I will have to see if I can resist The Black Hart for a month (probably not I think)

While we're on the subject of how wonderful Black Hart is, I recently bought a card box from them. I swiftly realised that the set was missing something, but didn't have time to sort it out, as I was on holiday and running around London.

Before the week was up, I'd received a letter with the missing bit and an apology. They (rightly) said that they felt it was better than making people send the boxes back to fix a minor thing. Excellent service and I fully intend to buy more from them.

After drooling over the goodies on the Black Hart site, I have finally succumbed and am awaiting delivery of WeeJa.
The concepts of Keith's tricks are fabulous and if Weeja lives up to my expectations I will be as addicted as some others here are.
A lot of thought has gone into the look and presentation of these props and the prices are pretty reasonable for magic too.

Is there anyone who can actually claim to using Wee Ja on a regular basis in the real world?
I recieved this today and whilst I am delighted with Black Artefacts' service and quality, whilst running through the instructions and method the first few times I am wondering if this is something I can get comfy with.. I know Keith has a 90 day money back guarantee but I would hate to part with the prop itself cos it's so lovely to look at lol.
Can anyone give me any encouraging hints or tips (by PM might be best)? I think I might just need a bit more "shameless ham" in my presentation and perhaps it is the sort of thing that only comes out when the atmosphere is absolutely right with absolutely the right participant. I could be just getting negatively hung up on the method a bit too much and maybe I just need to play around with it a bit more.
All warm messages of encouragement greatly appreciated lol :D
(and yes, I know there's a double entendre and it'll no doubt go into that thread that I can't remember the name of)
