Menage a Trois: An ingenious mental sandwich effect!
Yes & No: Jay could've sold this killer card effect as a separate item!

My Review(s):

The Linking Rings:
They are decent, well made (at least mine were, I have heard of people getting bad sets).
The teaching is excellent, that’s one thing I will totally credit Jay with. He is a very good teacher, a little ‘out there’, but that’s alright.
He teaches the basic moves- shake off, edge link, crash link, the blow off, the ditch, the examination, and a short routine.
Rating 7/10 Difficulty 6/10

Dowsing:
I kind of remember this one, (its been a while). It has something to do with separating black cards from red cards. Its really not that complicated. Even even explains what dowsing is for those who haven’t heard of it.
Rating 5/10 Difficulty 4/10

Economic Risk:
I really truthfully cant remember this one. Sorry. If I do happen to remember, I will add it.

Hot Date:
It is a very simple coin transposition, between you and an audience member. You both have a quarter (or any other coin that has a date on it), and you switch your coin for theirs.
Rating 5/10 Difficulty 3/10

Sudden Triumph:
Just another Triumph card routine. Though it moves a little faster. You do however learn a nice little move. It comes in real handy for other effects.
Rating 6/10 Difficulty 5/10

Kung fu Coin Change:
I really never used this one, never been a big coin guy. Basically it is a coin routine using 3 very different coins. Since I haven’t ever used it, I cant give an honest rating.
Rating 5/10

Collateral Damage:
Now this is one of my favorite routines from this whole dvd. I perform a version of this at almost all of my shows. A barrowed bill is signed, lost, then found in a container that was ‘locked’ in a bag that has been in the hands of an audience the whole time. Very nicely put together.
He covers it very well, the moves, the equipment, routine.
Rating 8/10 Difficulty 5/10

Menage a Trois:
Just another sandwich effect. I actually liked this one fairly well, only one thing bugged me.
But that’s fixed, I now often perform a sandwich effect, similar to this one. Mine is a mix of about 3 different sandwich effects. But the one taught here works just fine as well.
Rating 7/10 Difficulty 6/10

YES/NO:
Now this is my favorite routine off this DVD. I used to perform a variation of this a bunch.
This routine can get great reactions, its takes almost no sleights. Its not fully impromptu, it does take a very small set up. It will also use a whole deck, since you write on all the cards.
Rating 9/10 Difficulty 4/10

Overall:
This was a decent DVD from the mind of Sankey. Sankey is just as quirky in this dvd as usual, maybe more than usual, not sure. If you can get past that, cool. It is very well put together, very well taught, and has some great effects/routines. I wasn’t to fondest of the linking rings effect, but that’s just not my style- don’t get me wrong, its very well put together and such.. I personally just didn’t care for it. I only really performed it twice, and it just didn’t sit right with me. But I got my ‘moneys’ worth from the rest of the effect taught.
Rating 8/10

I bought this last September, and I thought it was awesome. I have since figured out other ways to do certain things, but that's best part. This is a linking ring routine for close up that starts and ends clean. What more could you want? At the very least you should buy this if you're even considering getting into linking rings. It's much cheaper then the large linking rings, they're good quality rings, and you get your intro to linking rings from Sankey.

As for the difficulty, I wouldn't give it as high numbers as the reviewer did. I thought everything was really easy, but this could be because of the difference in years practicing magic between the two of us but who knows.

Bottom line, if you're planning on getting into linking rings you need to start with this. It will help you so much when you decide (assuming you do) to go on to the bigger rings.
