The Effect Clenched by Callen Morelli

THe effect is very simple. A card is selected, returned to the pack. The pack is fanned using a pressue fan. The card is then selected by picking it from the decak as you fan the cards with you teeth.

Difficulty

The effect is very simple and most people here will probably be able to think of a method. I think the effect is quite weak. The reason I purchased it was the fan used in the video. Not knowing where to find the fan at hand I thought for the price I would get it just for that.

The sleight is the most difficult part of the effect to learn and is the main part of it. The rest is very easy.

Using the scale below it would be 3 but it is not very difficult to learn at all.

(1=easy to do, 2=No sleights, but not so easy, 3=Some sleights used,
4=Advanced sleights used, 5=Suitable for experienced magicians only)

Review
I have not bought anything previously from this site. The reason for this was the reviews I have heard about the material and that it is often material from books repackaged.

I am sure this is the same.

For $7.95 I thought there would be a reasonable explaination of the flourish. The flourish is used with another technique that is used with other effect. The instruction was very poor and was over before it seemed to start. I am glad I did not buy it for the effect or I would have been very disappointed.

I did not watch the section on presentation for two reasons I thought the effect was weak and I had not bought it to learn it so I thought it was a waste of time. But if it was along the level of quality as the rest of the download it is likely to be the pits.

I would say to anyone thinking about buying this download "Do not Do it!"

I cant put into words how poor this product is, it is cheap and the content is also cheap.

Thanks for the review, I'd seen this a while back, and wondered what it was like. The fan used in this effect is called 'Under Pressure' by Michael Vile, you can find it on Dan & Dave's Trilogy set on the 'everythingelse' disc. It's also available on the lecture DVD 'twothousandten'
