The muscle pass takes along time to learn for some people. check out www.coinvanish.com I still can't get it very high. the spin change in my opinion isn't that great the angles have to be right and it is hard to because of the angles. it is sort of like the snap change. I don't think you should worry about learning it.

If you can get the angles right for the spin change it is very good, and once you know where to hold the cards it is fairly forgiving, the only problem is finding the right position in the first place and remembering it each time!

just to point out.... it may take a little more than a week to perfect a muscle pass

i think it will be best to master the classic palm first, to stop the hand muscles getting confused

The muscle pass is NOT an easy thing to master...

Consider - do you REALLY need it???

Try concentrating your efforts on moves that will actually serve you harder...
Still miserable, but ask me anyway...

Muscle Pass

Postby S_adamson1 » Mon Mar 07, 2005 7:06 pm

PM me for a great web site that teaches the muscle pass. It looks really hard but hey if you wanna spend the time this web site has many videos of great coin routines. Most routines look almost impossible but if you are interested in learning some amazing coin sleights and vanishes this is for you.

muscle pass as a utility

Postby kardtrik » Tue Mar 08, 2005 7:11 am

It took me forever to learn the muscle pass, and still consider myself to be learning it. It's one of those things that can always be improved.

As to wehther or not you actually need to learn it, that is obviously up to you. There anre plenty of neat routines that use it, and I learned it to be used as a utility device for a simple coin vanish that I will gladly share--pm me-- It's a magician fooler.

It's also an interesting flourish. Lord knows we've all spent time on flourishe with cards or coins that have no practical appications...so, the muscle pass has it's virtues there.

My two Scents.
Think about you magic. Don't just do the trick. Put yourself in to it. Be original. Think, think, think. It's more important than practice.

Postby paniclikehell » Sat Mar 25, 2006 1:49 pm

After a very long time, i finally managed to get down the muscle pass! I use it for Daniel Garcia's quarters routine.
