I just recieved my "Electric Touch" from Yigal Mesika.

It looks fantastic and comes "ready to rock".

A warning....READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!!! For the love of GOD follow the guidelines and set up or else you might end up hurling objects across the room and swearing in a rather grotesque manner like me. MOMMY.....

I will now approach this formidable device in a more responsible manner and write up a comprehensive review as soon as I stop twitching.

So far....it looks very good indeed!

Out of interest, does anyone have the instant smoke that's also on the Ellusionist web site?

I had the instant smoke - but gave it away. I got a bit nervous when most of the instructions were devoted to disclaimers and warnings. It works quite qell - but can be corrosive. It's also a bit of a mission to set up and was a bit too uncomfortable to wear for the two hours or so I usually do at a walkaround gig. It was defiitely a C.U.P.S. purchase - seeing as I mostly do metal bending..

Looking forward to the Electric Touch review, though..

Just to agree with Tom Please be careful. This is one POWERFUL thing. Play nicely boys and Girls I want to play with mine a bit more before passing many comments. However i will say this, you will NOT be disappointed with it

Read the instructions again, again and then even more I don't think the Cat next door will ever visit again (Tom will probably know what happened!)

hmmm... as i was reading through ellusionist's website, they mention that

"You wear the device easily on your leg. It's small, and is never seen under your pant leg down by your foot."

this quickly reminded me of this little thing that i saw on the web one time

Two magicians at the shop recently got their electric touch and I was lucky enough to be hanging out at the time to be their practice.

I can't give all the details, but they both labsolutely oved it. Although, I could tell that they could not get it to work properly everytime. It looked like the switch was somewhat senstive and that they would need to work with it more for it to be reliable in performance.

In response to Zero000 question, you will not be shooting any electricity out like Mortal Combat, but the shock people receive can be startling.

The first thing I thought was whether this would be safe for someone with a pacemaker - it would be awfully unpleasant to have someone collapse when you shock them... Is the shock gentle enough to be 100% safe?

why in the world would anyone want to shock a spectator. I think this is an absoultly horrid idea. Imagine if your were a spectator and the first thing they expericence is an electric shock. just my opionion

but this electric touch thing seems a little pricy. 150 bucks!!!
i rather just use the easiest and cheapest method,

rub socks against carpet, proceed to shock victim

u was thinking the same thing katrielalex was and no one answered...

would this be safe for someone with a pacemaker because the send impulses to the heart to tell it to beat faster when it slows down and this could confuse and possibly give someone a heart attack??
