Colour Changing Deck

Postby Luker21 » Sat Jan 17, 2004 4:55 pm

EFFECT: A blue deck is removed from its blue box, the faces are shown to be different, the performer then asks the spectator to say what colour a range of cards faces are, he then asks the spectator what colour the deck is, 'blue' this is correct and the back of the deck is shown to indeed be blue. The spectator then picks a card this is then cut to the middle and the dealer turns over the deck and spreads them showing an entirely red deck with one blue card. this card is turned over and it is the spectators card. as a final kick the card is turned over and it is now red just like every other card in the entire deck.

DIFFICULTY: 2

REVIEW: this trick is very powerful and relies a lot on the spectaor noticing things subconciously, the trick does however contain some difficult (for me!) sleight of hand but does put a shock on their faces, it needs a lot of practice aswell. The trick is very good in that with one simple move the deck is shown to be a normal deck and contain 52 cards, this means a lot of tricks can come before or after this one.
I have not performed this in front of a lot of people yet because i do not feel very confident but im sure practise with sleight of hand will certainly help.
anyone who has this trick got any tipps on the specific moves involved?

PRICE: £6.00 Davenports)

its 6.00 or you could probably make one real easy if you have the right gimmick (easily available) but you would need the instructions

cool, have you heard of Kidz Kards? Its a lil effect (i dont have it) whereyou show a deck and each card appears to be drawn by a kid, and given to the magician as a souvineir (arggh spelling!) then they magically change into a normal deck, the magician shows a trick, then they change back to souvineir ( :? )

I think its £15 but cant remember where its from..
