If previously reviewed please excuse me, I couldn't find it in search

Magic Colouring Book
Disappearing Crayons

£9.99 each From Alkazam

Difficulty 1
(1=easy to do, 2=No sleights, but not so easy, 3=Some sleights used,
4=Advanced sleights used, 5=Suitable for experienced magicians only)

I bought these two items as an add on the my small stock of childrens tricks because I was asked to entertain a mixed adult and child audience at a family birthday party.

I left it all very late and only had the effects 48 hours before the party. However, no worry they are remarkably easy to work and are visibly highly effecdtive.

The book is I am sure wll known to most, you rifle though it once and the pages are blank, you do it a second time and outline drawings appear and you do it a third time and the pictures are magically couloured in

I bought the disappearing crayons with it and worked a story around the book and thet crayons which involved the colurs all going in to the book whenn the crayons disappeared.

The book comes with a suggested routine but there is so much you can do with this especially if you put a magic wand in a childs hand and get them to participate.

AND... as a bonus, it went down well with the adults as well!!

[b]Overall. Both items are good value for money and for me now an essential part of anything I do for children

Thanks for putting a review of this up, Johnny - the basics of actual performers are often left out. It's nice to know that thery are as good a quality as one would expect. I've only done a few kids parties, but I must admit I haven't got around to buying these yet, and I keep meaning to - I suppose I'm waiting for my next show to come in.

Glad to hear it's going alright for you, too...
