M D K is just one of several. Without the spaces, M D M is short for MagicDiscoMan, M OF M is short for Mistress of Magic and M O G is short for Mog :wink:

I think it only works on text in posts and not on usernames. At one time there was a process where a username could be changed but it was very fiddly and opened the forum up to all sorts of unwelcome visitors whilst doing it. We haven't had that facility for a couple of years or so. There also doesn't seem to be a way of moving the posting totals over to a new name either. Stick with Larry, that's the name we know and love. (In a purely non-physical and totally formal, uncommitted way, of course :shock:

It should still be possible, with direct access to the forum DB...
