It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

I also present this, using the method described by Dat - usually with an upturned pint/half-pint glass.
I place the coins as described by Dat and place my hand firmly on top of the glass and ask a spec to press on my hand quite firmly, stating something along the lines of, "make sure you press hard enough so I cannot lift the glass up". This they do, then we do the "swirling" of the glass and when we stop I let them remove the pound coin from under the glass. I usually make a comment such as, "well you didn't do a very good job - you let the penny escape". Watch them all dive under the table and look on the floor for the penny lol - it never fails

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

Should this be discussed in a open forum?

Also seems out of place in Review Requests

I don't see why not as we're discussing the presentation and not the secret of how it works.

I think that most people have been carefull to pick their wording carefully so as to not give the secret away.

If the MODS disagree then I'm sure that they will delete the appropriate text in line with their usual excellent editing skills

I just thought it doesnt take a genius to work out how its done.

Also - its gone off the Review Request topic somewhat

also, what i do is put all the heat on the 1p coin, which is of course a non gimmick 1p coin, using one of the secret methods,

and therefore they will never find a fault with a non gimmciked 1p coin, and by this time i would have made the switch for a non gimmicked 1 pound

I bought mine from Ebay, it is a copy, but the (gimmick) is so strong that I need some bluetack to remove it (it is actually not a problem for me. I use a different routine, so the sound doesn't bother me. I happily give it for inspection, as no one can guess what it is. And again, the (gimmick)'s so strong that i doesn't spin inside its shell. I got it off Ebay a few years back for £19 intead of £30 for the original...
I will post my routine in the routine section if you want.

DAMN! I just saw that I don't have access!!!
How do you do to get access to the restricted areas?
Anyway, I basically mis my coin routine to the salt shaker through table trick, and I get fantastic reactions... :D
