well, i've been on this forum for about a year now, and i keep constaly seeing people not using the search bar and just asking a quesiton that's been asked many time(lazy people...). but i have also found out that it is really hard to find the specific thing that i want serach and i end up sifting through alot of threads, which may be one reason why people dont use the search bar? (i highly doubt it though)

is there anyway to upgrade the search feature so it works more efficantally?

I used the search function to look up "search button". There were over 1300 posts. To refine it, I used "search AND button". This came up with about 38 matches. How many people realise that the "AND" refines the search better?

Zero000, I thnk this topic has been covered. Maybe it would have been better to do a search on it first.

The basic Search feature on TM is the default version as set by PhPBB an as far as I know there are no plans to change it. There was a mention not too long ago of perhaps incorporating the Google search as well but that's something the Forum owner needs to deal with and he's a busy budgie with his other projects taking up most of his time these days.
