I had one until the cat ate it! I had to wait 12 hours before it passed naturally through its system and it was never the same again (the wiggly worm not the cat) Sure anything to keep the little brats quiet :P "We know you wanted a puppy for christmas but heres a bit of carpet fluff and fishing line instead"

How do they work? Looks like invisible string with the clear containers, but what about the girl and her hand? I gotta get some.

Indeed! :D I had one of those when I was around 12 or so. My dad bought it in London and I was the only kid in Iceland (all 250.000 population) that had that wiggly worm.
Sadly, it has passed away by now... I think.

It is indeed true that I know all about the little worm. And I am not referring to any of my various critics on the magic forums.

Indeed in my little book about his cousin Marmaduke the Wonder Mouse I have written a few pages about him and given a simple routine. Not only that I have included an up to now secret method of manipulating the little fellow that only worm pitchmen and grafters know.

I have sold thousands and thousands of these little creatures for about a quarter of a century. However the acknowleged master of such is Dick Koornwinder. It is a very well known product in Holland which has been sold in the street there. Even the illustrious and sadly deceased Tommy Wonder pitched them in the streets of Holland at one time.

There is indeed a video of me pitching the worm and other sundry items including the svengali deck. I am treating the punters with the contempt they so richly deserve. Later I might provide a link to it or I might not. It will depend upon what mood I am at the time.

It wasn't a particularly good example of me ripping off the public because they refused to be ripped off. This has somewhat disinclined me from showing it to you.

Still we will see......................................

Koornwinder

Postby opie » Sep 23rd, '06, 01:49

Dick Koornwinder was at the SAM Convention in Dallas and gave a workshop on Fred Capps and the Worm....I especially enjoyed the worm, because he distributed FREE some worms around the room; we all got to play with one......I was thinking, "Yeah right! I can just see Mark giving those worms away, as long as the audience had HIS MONEY IN their pockets.".....haha

He demonstrated and had us practice making the worm jump in and out of a glass, from one glass to another glass, and how to make it weave through our fingers.....

...I wish you could have been there.......opie

Does Anyone have one of These. Wiggly worms

Postby Allen Tipton » Oct 1st, '06, 12:11

:) I'm glad Mark Lewis replied. I recently received his booklet on Marmaduke the Magic Mouse and his cousin, Wiggly Worm. You HAVE to have this if you really want a simple trick which fascinates old and young alike. Mark has written down the exact techniques involved. It's fun to learn and even greater fun to perform.
