The Effect

T.G. not only teaches tricks and flourishes in Imagication, but he also tried to teach how to create your own sleights and magic so that you will never again be dependent on others for your card work. It is taught throughout the book.

T.G.'s Mid-Air Triple Cut is fully explained in Imagication. This has become his trademark and a benchmark for others. Over the years, this flourish has become known by many different names. There are many ways to do this flourish improperly and only one way to do it correctly. In his next book, there will be many advancements taught with this flourish and the only way one will succeed with these new flourishes is if they have the proper technique for the Mid-Air Triple Cut.

Can you force a selected card while performing a one-handed shuffle? This force has fooled every magician that has seen it!

I think it's about a 2-4 because all the sleights necessary for the tricks in the book are explained fully.


Review
Imagication is an amazing book with a wealth of information on card magic. Containing over 300 pages, it has no filler and everything is straight to the point. T.G. Murphy is a magician who likes to incorporate flourishing into his magic and he has done an amazing job in finding the correct balance. His book teaches the methods of doing so, especially in his famous "Mid Air Triple Cut".

Imagication is not only a book on teaching magic but also an inspiration and a guide. Mr Murphy teaches you how to imagicate and expand on sleights that very well known and to make it into something new.

The illustrations in the book also help greatly. At the end of each effect, there is a summary of the effect as a quick review of the effect. The Introduction and Foreword sections are a great read and I never really liked books but it definitely was great to read!

At $25 (about £13), what's there to lose?

I give it a 10/10 for the quantity and quality of the book. I give Mr Murphy a huge BRAVO!

Hmn, after you gave me the link to this book I was interested.

However If I buy, I would like a hardcopy, where can the hardcopy be bought and for how much?

Also, the magic included, is it the flashy kinda style like the Deck Flip is, like the Dan and Dave style magic?

Might have to add somewhere near to the top of my list. =)

If you want the hardcopy, I think Handlordz does it. Try eBay too. I have no idea about the price. I wanted it cheap because I'm broke so I bought the ebook version.

The style of magic is not as flourishy as the Bucks. The deck flip is the "Reverse mid air triple cut" in the book and of course you know it already Tom . Alot of the tricks utilise the Erdnase Cut which is taught in the book.
