Tom

Pure genius - and worthy of the Innovator badge. PS... there's also a variation on that badge for you - 'Diplomatic Relations/Innovator' - but there's not quite enough room!

I agree that the improved handling would benefit this effect - even though I've not tried it, I can imagine the result.

On an 'update' note - I can confirm that this effect has grown on me slightly - and I've been determined to improve the quality of it for my own performances...

Footnotes:
1: TRY and perform on a decent surface - a foam backed pad is the ideal one, I've found. this allows a very accurately controlled ribbon spread.

2: Handle the cards themselves with quite a firm hand

3: Heed the 'orientation' markings, and learn this first - step by step... I have, on one occasion, had egg on face from letting my performance get in the way of the handling - and forgot which way up the cards were!

4: Don't be too concerned with showing EVERY card. If they spread in clumps, just carry on. I know it's possible to show them all, but the speccy gets the gist pretty fast!

You know what I'd never noticed before but yes there are only 46 cards and 2 jokers!!

This trick is best performed in the hand unless you are fully proficient at even ribbon spreading but even then I feel it works better run thru in the hand!

You are rude, arrogant and being exposed here because you clearly have no respect.
