The Effect

You show a small packet of five tarot cards to the audience and talk about how they can influence. One card is freely selected and when the others are shown on the back there is nothing there, however when the selected card is turned over there is 666 printed on the back!

Cost

£7.50 from www.blackhart.co.uk

Difficulty
(1=easy to do, 2=No sleights, but not so easy, 3=Some sleights used,
4=Advanced sleights used, 5=Suitable for experienced magicians only)

Well this really is a lovely little packet trick. It is very easy to perform. You only need a liitle handling practise to make it smooth and to be honest most of you will be able to perform this as soon as you open the packet. You are supplied with a nice little script that you can use and adapt. I took Keith's script and made it a bit more dark. The nice thing about this is that it is an instant reset. It is ideal for close-up and walkaround work.

As with all the Hart's effects it is really easy to do. This let's you concentrate on the performance. Of course you need to be a good story teller for this kind of effect.

Overall

9/10 very nice!
