Top Pop - Card revelation tutorial

Postby stevebo » Thu Feb 22, 2007 12:02 am

Hey guys. I made this up not too long ago and I thought I'd share it with you. It's not really a trick as such but a flashy way of revealing the top card. I think this is original... I hope it is :).

Don't mind that little drawing on my hand, my friend did it... lol.

I think the best thing about this is that it is one handed. It makes it look like the card appears out of nothing...

Anyways... Enjoy!!

Well, can't see it quite yet. Guess I'll wait for a while.

*sits back nervously, checks every minute*
Thanks,

Yeah Youtube's down at the moment - however, if the top card pops over on top of the deck, then I'm afraid it's already been published - it's a John Cornelius move called 'Spring Set' in his book "The Award-Winning Magic of John Cornelius"...

...if not, then it sounds interesting!

Well... once it's up, you can find out if it's already been done or not ;).

The card doesn't appear on the top of the deck, it extends out like Aaron Fisher's Pop Out move but done with the top card and also done one handed.

Youtube is working - if you go on Youtube and search for stevebo's profile you can watch the vid that way :)

Very nice! It is completely different, sorry for jumping to conclusions! Just the name and the description sounded similar.

Thanks for sharing, it's very nice indeed!

Hehe nice one mate, pretty sweet.
Reminds me of the top production I showed you at Ipswich. :D

Nice one though, I think this could flow nicely out of a flashy false cut, into an ace production. :)

*Gets working on that idea*

Haha yeah! I was thinking about that when I made it up. I've already worked out an Ace production using this and the Ego Change.

Yea I gave the ace production a go, I ended up with something looking like a flashier version of "Daydream" from Pasteboard Animations.
