Lock your threads?

Postby harrison » Mar 7th, '07, 16:44

there is no way to lock your own threads and prevent people spamming in them when the discussion is over or your question is answered....

if there is a way to do this then i apologise for being a fag but if not its a good suggestion right?

thanks ~~~ harrison

There is not really any need to lock your own thread as the mods can do that if it starts to get out of hand also your question might be answered but others might have some more questions to ask on the subject.

It's a *discussion* forum.

You post at your own discretion, and risk.

If you don't expect answers, spamming or flaming, then don't post!

Not quite sure what makes you tick at the minute, but you've made possibly the strangest entrance to the forum in a long time!

Is that a good or bad thing!

You're quite right, only the Mods can lock posts and you're right that we're not on duty 24/7. We tend to rely on the common sense and good manners of the genuine members to act and post with all due thought and consideration. Anyone who prefers to be annoying or insulting etc will be excluded asap. It's not a perfect system but it works for us  !
