Devil Coin Vanish

Postby Beardy » Jan 15th, '07, 19:11

The Effect

The Devil Coin

Vanish a coin using this diabolical secret. Coin Devil has devised a technique and mechanism dependent on modern technology to produce an effect so genuine it cannot be denied.

This is unlike any coin vanish you have seen before. The application of this brand new principle takes it beyond anything else currently on the market.

And.. IT'S EASY TO DO!

What it isn't

> No pulls or elastics used

> No sleeving, could be performed in the nude

> No threads, wires or "looped coin" principles

> No magnets or special coins, coin can be borrowed

> No difficult palming. A special gimmick does the work for you!

What it is

> It is the cleanest visual coin vanish ever.

> It is available for download right now.

> It is only $6.95

> It includes 3 teriffic bonuses!

Cost

about £3 at http://www.downloadmagic.com/cointricks/devil_coin_vanish.htm

Difficulty
(1=easy to do, 2=No sleights, but not so easy, 3=Some sleights used,
4=Advanced sleights used, 5=Suitable for experienced magicians only)

1-2 me thinks

Review

Well, I saw the demo vid and brought it straight away - all I can say is that it had me baffled and at £3 even if it is c*** (not the best) you can't really go wrong. It isn't c*** (not the best) - and I didn't go wrong. It is very easy to do, and very deceptive - I performed it to my sister who normally knows what it is - but after 10 mins of practice she had no clue!

The bonuses aren't "terrific" - but hell, I just paid for the main vanish.

sleeveless, can be done naked, good angles, and reproduce the coin, very clean...what more do you want?

Overall

Overall a solid 9/10 for me - only problem is there are some angle issues, and you can't do it surrounded - you can have a good wide spot though!

Very easy, very cheap, and workable in real world situations. recomendation? hell yeah - £3 people! Three.....f*ing......squiddlies!

very nice

Love

Bah I was hoping you were gonna say something like it's utter poopa and not worth 3p never mind £3 ..... oh well something else to add to my ever-growing list :?
Where's it gonna end :?:

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

I also purchased this yesterday. It's a great sleight. There are 2 main versions - one, you need something else - which is easily attainable, but if you can't get hold of said item, you can use alternatives

For such a cheap price, I'd give it 9/10.

Nice one

I got this today and to be honest I was glad it was cheap.

Ok, it's a good quick and visual vanish, but you don't need to go out and purchase the gimmick. After seeing this and already having purchased 'STUCK!' by Greg Rostami, I realised that you can do this easier and quicker with Greg's method.

One thing I am glad of is that this has given me more ways to use Greg's conceal method to pull off many coin vanishes and reveals that I wouldn't have initially thought of. It's ok for the price, but for a third of the cost of Bobo's coin book, it's not really worth it.

Devil's Coin

Postby DrTodd » Jan 18th, '07, 13:32

I liked the video and purchased this....BUT it is a little bit of Bobo plus a little summit....is it worth releasing it as a stand alone effect?

This vanish looks remarkably similar to Sankeys 'Messiah Vanish', which is on his greatest hits dvd's. I agree that Rostamis Stuck method is much easier and more sensible that what i assume they are using in this trick. although i do use the stuck method alot with coins now, my secret weapon is much more simple, im not even sure if i should mention it, maybe i could sell this as an instant download for 4 quid?...... no, we're all friends here, ok here goes

try loosening your watch a little bit and then executing the devil/messiah vanish, you will find that you are VERY clean and will be able to show both hands completely.

i hope i have been cryptic enough not to enrage to moderators for exposure, if this makes sense to anyone please PM me and we can talk coin vanishes. Im all for developing ideas and seeing how far sleights can be pushed.

also, HAS ANYONE GOT COINONE BY HOMER LIWAG??!!!! if you like coins you must own it!!!! i feel a bit baffled by the fact that no-one seems to be mentioning it at all on these forums. its one of the best coin routines i've ever seen. Homer Liwag and Chris Kenner on one DVD am i the only one excited by that around here??!!!!!!!

atomo out.

p.s how cool are big old 10p's??

How hard is the gimmick to make and is it easy to carry around?
