Review

I know the Masters Edition decks have been discussed and reviewed here before, but I thought I would mention a few things about the blue ones. The cards are exactly the same as the red ones but there have been a few changes.

One thing some people complained about with the red decks was that it said "Visit Ellusionist.com for unique decks" on the box, thus possibly raising suspicion of a trick deck. That has been removed from the blue box and it just says Bicycle Poker 808.

The barcode revelation has been changed from 2 of spades to 7 of spades. Also for people who don't like the new ace of spades design the blue decks come with an ace of spades that is identical to the normal bicycle ace of spades, so you can pop that in there instead of the Ellusionist ace design if you want.

Overall

Personally, I think these are great but obviously that is going to vary with each person and what he or she feels comfortable with.

i just bought three of each pack, apparantly they are the exact same construction as the black tiger/ghost/whatever so I will check them out and report if they are really 'different'

personaly i like the red masters better

Postby elemental conjurer » Jun 19th, '07, 18:42

i believe that the red master decks are better than the blue ones. however, they have some down sides too.

pros:
1) the red ones dont warp as much as the blue ones. (i felt like the blue ones warped really easily
2)the ace looks fenominal to me anyways.
3) there is a revelation on the bottom

cons:
the sides look white and dont really look like normal biker decks.

still i have always loved the red cards and these are decks i feel i will buy more of

these decks aren't bad and they spring really well fresh out the box.
