I like the look of these, but the standard Vernet one does me fine and I have never been caught out! :D

Hi I.D

( Glad your still posting BTW )

Yep. Nothing at all wrong with the vernet Tips. We tend to call the deluxe tips 'Paranoia thumbs' :)

But joking aside, there are a lot of people who don't feel comfortable with the psychology that hides the regular tip so well, and because of this have never tried using them. If the realistic look, makes the tt owner RELAX that has got to be a good thing for their performance. ( Also its a lovely little thingy just to look at and smuggly say to yourself 'yep, I own one!' :)

TIP: Place your realistic Thumb sticking out of your front garden flower bed, and watch from your upstairs window as a passerby FREAKS OUT
(no, seriously don't try this if you like your freedom!)

LOL..

I am so going to try that I dont care!! I have this annoying busybody neighbour always peeking in our garden.. Ill see what happens when I do this..

I use the deluxe TT for a gag effect I created where you basically fall over at work or in public, 'break your thumb' and with the TT inverted at the incorrect angle it looks bloody realistic. I freaked out the first aider at work with this.. and then I magically 'healed' my thumb!! Beautiful geek effect.. Even sankey liked it.. yes I emailed him at the time I first time I tried it as I thought it was that funny.. which it isnt .. but it is.. try it!!

I (cough) too invested in one these which arrived yesterday...I have to say it is really very high quality. I can't see why it won't work for all the things I do.
