Can somebody help an ageing technophobe please?

How do you transfer direct quotes from one part of the forum to another, and so get all these quotes in this thread?

I have spent a scandalous amount of my employers time this afternoon trying to do this!!!!

I just hit quote on the post I want to quote, copy it. Then post a reply here and paste the quote in. There might be an easier way to do it though

an easy way is to:

click the quote button (top right of the post in question
edit down to the innuendo bit...
copy it (hold down the Ctrl key and press C)
zip along to this section
click on Post Reply as normal
Paste the offending text in...(Ctrl+V)

submit as usual!

EDIT: snap!

So true. I once went to birmingham

I am master of misdirection, look over there.

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.

Thanks for that Monker. I was waiting for that one to crop up.

I'm also quite scared that ID and Mandrake are meeting up behind the back of Rackhams on a Saturday night. Ah well, to each his own.

All the best,
