Getting sharpie ink out of Jeans?

Postby Carl Buck » Sep 25th, '07, 15:06

My mini sharpie has just decided to implode in my pocket, resulting in a very fetching black blob expanding across my left thigh!

Is this stuff going to come out or can I kiss these jeans goodbye?

Alcohol. Pure, medical grade alcohol.

Soak the stain, dab it with clean kitchen roll. Repeat until most of the ink is soaked to kitchen roll (use a new sheet often).

Then, get them straight in the wash.

I know, cos I've done this a million times whilst making gaffed Sharpies :O

I've saved jeans, combat trousers and an olive coloured cotton t-shirt doing this method of cleansing. Do the above as soon as you can!

(Well, a million is an exaggeration, but hey, we're magicians, and we like to make things look bigger!)

I was wondering who was going to be the first to comment on that line  I thought it but managed to restrain myself.

I'm also very suprised that no one's come up with any smutty comments about the stains in Carlos' jeans  dear dear this place really is going down hill

Oh and why should being 18 stop you being immature, I'm 24 and still giggle like a school girl at things that I really should have grown out of by now. :D

Ah, but do kids have as much fun in childhood as grown ups have in adultery?

No, wait. That can't be right.
