Heirloom Wallet

Postby roman59 » Apr 30th, '04, 17:00

This arrived in the post today

What a little beauty this really is.

Dealer description

After weeks of designing and negotiation, Alakazam are pleased to announce that we will be offering a brand new custom designed leather wallet for use with the best-selling Heirloom trick.

This wallet has been specially designed in black leather to make performing the effect easier than ever before. And a special built-in feature allows you to show the wallet empty after you remove your prediction, elimnating any doubt in your spectator's mind!

After the phenomenal success of Heirloom, we are very excited about the new companion wallet, which will also come with additional ideas and routines that will enable you to perform a number of high-impact, killer mentalism effects.

I have been using Heirloom with my regular everyday wallet, but the downside of this is that sometimes it is not really easy to produce the required photograph easily & quickly.

The Heirloom Wallet enables you to do the above instantly & without any fumbling etc allowing you to concentrate more on the presentation.

Also if there is a doubting spectator in the audience after the photograph has been removed from the wallet it can be shown in a very subtle way to be empty.

This wallet can be used for other mental effects & not just Heirloom.

If you perform Heirloom you will not be disappointed with this product.

Well done Alakazam 10/10

Available from www.alakazam.co.uk £24.99

Not sure if this is something I should mention but I'm 'aging' my props and have reprinted the letter on equally convincing paper so I can practise aging it without destroying the original. I've also scanned and reprinted the photos to practise the techniques with those first. They don't all have to be aged in the same way as each other and perhaps only a small amount of aging is required - no point in wrecking the photos! The wallet arrived this morning and I have to agree it's a good 'un - dead sneaky in many respects but a darned good everyday piece of kit as well. My Stealth Wallet can now have a bit of a rest!

I bought my Heirloom from Alakazam so have no idea about the tips from the Underground folks - any clues as to the general nature of them?

Just had my copy spiral bound - the document / e-booklet comes with the following:

Aging techniques
Second Letter
"Heirloom Diary" effect
"Heirloom diary II"
"Heirloom diary III"
Impromptu Heirloom
Impromtu heirloom using Bonus Card
Heirloom for the non-caucasian

Plus you also received some xtra photos

It was well worth buying direct from Jamie and Co.

The Underground collective will be releasing a special HEIRLOOM document which includes this e-booklet plus other ideas routine very soon. I have read that it will sell for 10 UK pounds and be available only through their website.

Shame that the same trick supplied via other outlets didn't have these benefits. Alakazam, Magicbox and Wand Magic are all selling Heirloom for the same sort of price yet aren't able to provide as much as The Underground.

Well rot my socks, so it is! Most things are at a lower cost there but I thought they were the on same level for Heirloom as all the other suppliers - wrong again Mandrake!

Stealth is taller than wider and is about 85mm wide x 116mm, Heirloom is wider than taller and is 16mm wide x 105mm tall - all dimensions in 'closed' position. Heirloom has many more pockets plus the facility to totally switch items - red cards for black, fivers for tenners and so on. It also has the feature whereby the wallet can be casually shown to be empty even when fully loaded.
