This first came to my attention when I read about it in magic Magazine a couple of months ago.

I bought mine from Mike Danata and it was around the £25 mark - post free (I bought other bits so can't remember the price exactly).

Difficulty
(1=easy to do, 2=No sleights, but not so easy, 3=Some sleights used,
4=Advanced sleights used, 5=Suitable for experienced magicians only)

Review

Ibought this on the review and without seeing the video clip above as I didn't have an internet connection at the time. It's sat in the pile of DVD's to watch for a few weeks until I finally got around to opening this one up earlier today.

I began by watching the performance (part of the above clip) and was blown away. The routine itself looks so slick and you get everything you need to begin performing almost immediately. I sort of worked out how part of the routine worked as I perform something similar with a different object that some of you may already have but this didn't detract one bit from my enthusiasm.

Once you hear Sol's explanation, routine and patter then everything slips into place and you're off!. I was performing this within 15 minutes of having watched the DVD and to the lay person it's difficult to get anything stronger than this. It knocked their socks off and I'm chuffed to bits.

Overall

10/10 for this simple yet stunning routine and they say that the simple things in life are the best. If you're working restaurants (Moodini ) then this will be right up your street. This does EXACTLY what it says on the box!

Video looks brilliant, it would seem its just what I'm looking for , some non card close up. Couldn't find it at Mikes place though?

I noted that it's not on Mike's web site - he sold the last batch as soon as he got them in so it may be worth phoning to see if he has any more in stock.

Found it at World of Magic for £24.58. You say it would be perfect for Restaurants? I have a regular gig at one.

IMO this is as near perfect as it gets for tables - easy, no reset, very visual, lots of patter, no angles - what more could you ask for?

I haven't been able to put this one down all day and if I haven't been showing it to someone, then I've been practicing over and over as some form of self gratification

The reactions have been superb!

I think that WoM charge postage which would add an extra pound or two and you may find that Mike was a fraction cheaper than this, even without considering his free postage - give him a call.

Hi, new on here.

I have been doing magic for only about 6 months after meeting up with my Dad's old friend (the mod on this site, bananfish), and will admit that I'm not the best obviously. However I do think that I can perform sponge ball magic well, and I like using props like sponge balls in my routines.

I just wondered if this set, even though given a 1 for easiness, is suitable for a real amateur, although I am prepared to put in the time and effort. I'm good at sleight of hand, however any complicated moves may be unsuitable.
Any help would be appreciated.

It matters little what effect you go for if, like you say, you are prepared to put the time in. That time will eventually result in you mastering whatever you set out to achieve.

As for this one, you won't need to put that much time into mastering this one but a lot will depend on your presentation skills.

Thanks for the thought dat.....I have never seen this but will say that I am going to look into it. Once question - you may not want to answer it, fine if you don't - but am I safe in assuming it is impromptu? I am thinking that it would fit in anther effect that I use with some dice and could move into as an "afterthought" with one of the existing dice....

Spoke to Mike and ordered mine today, he says he has a few in stock.
"dat" is right, anybody can learn the mechanics of a trick, but if its going to entertain sombody then presentation is everything.

One Quick question similar to the one posed by Moodini (I'll soon find out anyway) but I was going to slot this in straight after Diceman but am unsure as to whether the dice can be used normally before hand.
Please pm me if the answer is a tad revealing or if not I wil soon see whne it's delivered.

I love the demo. So simple a premise but so visual. Perfect stuff
