Pocket Space...by Anthony Miller

I purchased "Pocket Space" from Tony. I have been performing this effect, and receiving lots of great reactions from spectators. I'll let Tony's webpage describe the effect:
http://www.rfaproductions.com/products/pocketspace.htm

This is a very interesting approach to the Any Card At Any Number effect. It totally solves the long process of a spectator having to count through (what seems to be an endless amount of cards) to arrive at their selected card, at their selected number. I can see a greater potential in this magical effect...to really slay audiences.

This can be done in any type of situation: Walk Around, Street Magic, Restaurant Worker, Close-Up etc. This would not be for Stage, although with some clever thought...I suppose this could be adapted for bigger performances.

This is a very good effect and I give it a big thumbs up!

Sounds really good Mark. Is it repeatable to someone? Am I correct to assume no sleights are involved? The card + business card come out at the same time and no switches are made? If so it sounds very good!

KJ, Yes! It is possible to repeat the effect to the same spectator. There are absolutely no sleights involved and you are supplied with everything you need (Instruction booklet and the special "something", to accomplish this effect).

In all honesty, I would not repeat this effect for spectator's... As I always say: Once, is Magic! Twice, is an Education!

Plus, I think it would diminish the initial WOW!! this effect delivers.

Pocket Space can be adapted to fit your style of performing. I really like this.

I have this too and HIGHLY recommend it!

It has the impact of Bang On but it is very simple and you only need your own ungimmicked wallet, what more could you want?!?

You don't really need to memorize anything if you set it up right.

I would say this is untrue, but to an extent. There was more memory work than expected, but it's nothing difficult that can't be learned after some practice and experience. Right off the bat you'll be able to do the trick but you'll need to stall via patter to figure out what you need to do, but as you get more practice you'll be able to do it right away. Thats my POV anyway.

All in all a fantastic trick, although I am thinking of replacing the ugly business cards with something of my own haha!

Tony has already considered re-doing the back of the business card. You can check out the new designs and cast your vote. So far, selection number two is way out in front. See them here: http://www.rfaproductions.com/cardback.htm

I was thinking about buying 52 on 1 by Dick Barry, and have heard that this is similar. Is this true?

Can't comment on that, but I can't really stress how good this trick is. It is something (along with a tt) that I have on me at all times. It takes up so very little Pocket Space, and it really freaks people out.

Like I have said before, more memory work than I expected, but not anything extreme, and not something you can't work out while talking with your spectator.

One of my best purchases for sure.

Hi guys,

I have to agree that this one does pack a fair old punch an has now taken up permanent residence in my wallet along with a colour monte!

Very little to remember and a very tidy little routine which costs little!

Go and get it!

I'm glad you decided to purchase Pocket Space. Tony has just added a new PDF file with the instructions. The PDF contains many improvements and suggestions from select purchasers.

...After I purchased Pocket Space, Mr. Miller contacted me to work through the effect and send him feedback. My suggestions and improvements are now part of the aforementioned PDF along with many other great ideas. Several contributions make the effect much easier to use.

...It took me by surprise when Tony asked to use my suggestions in the new PDF. I am completely humbled by this, as I never imagined Mr. Miller would consider my improvements.

Any one here wanting the PDF with the improvements can contact Tony Miller directly or I can send it to you. You will need to give proof of owning Pocket Space, in order to receive the PDF. Let me know.

Got this at last last week (bloody American postage, 18 days to arrive :( )

Fantastic effect, & yes as the description says takes up very little space in my wallet. The memory work that their is is very logical & very easy to remember which was my main concern.

So I'd recommend this little beaut to anyone.

Hi, I bought and sold 52 on 1 card, I now have pocket space, have it on me all the time, and use it regularly, as for Dick Berry`s one, I personally think there is a lot more memory work involved.
