Kaps on Fire Wallet

Postby TheAlkhemist07 » Feb 17th, '08, 19:47

The Effect
A card is freely selected and signed by a spectator, which is then returned to the deck and lost. The magician hands the deck to the spectator, and then removes his wallet. As he opens it, flames up to 8 inches shoot out of the top! He quickly shuts the wallet and sets it on the table. Money really can burn a hole in your pocket!
After a moment, he decides to try again. He opens the wallet and it looks exactly like a normal, everyday wallet! Showing his hands empty, he opens a small zippered compartment and removes the spectator's signed card!

Cost
I got mine second hand from Michael Jay, but you can pick them up new from $38 dollars i think?

Difficulty
(1=easy to do, 2=No sleights, but not so easy, 3=Some sleights used,
4=Advanced sleights used, 5=Suitable for experienced magicians only)

I would say a 3, since there are quite a few dificultish sleights to do.

Review
I initially saw this in the Approved items for sale bit and decided to buy it as I was learning the P**m and would soon be learning the P**s.
Some how after watching Roy Walton in tam shepards I was able to do a reasonable p**s so Ive been giving this thing a shot. The fire part can be a bit tempermental but I think I have nailed it. Other than that the L**d is quite easy.
It doesnt fit in a trouser pocket, Ive even tried baggy jeans, so just wear a jacket or somethin when doing it.
A classic effect with added firepower, what more could you want? :D

Overall

9/10 would have got 10 if the flame wasnt tempermental and it fit in my jeans but I would say thats fair.[/i]
