Interlace was my only magical purchase at Blackpool and although I haven't set it up yet, it looks top. I watched the DVD last night and watched Mr Sanders demo it twice in person. To my thinking this really is a superb bit of kit and good value.

I had a bit of a problem with one faulty component in the packet but having spoken with Mr Sanders he has agreed to sort it out straight away, which is great. So a thumbs up customer service wise.

As far as sticky velcro goes I'd recommend avoiding it like the bubonic as sticky velcro is generally as much use as a chocolate fireguard when used on cloth.

I agree with Sir Flash - good old needle and threat is what this requires.

i was thinking more along the lines of moving it from one pair of trousers to another with ease?

I suppose i could sew the velcro instead of sticking it.

The main problem with this trick i find is 'the load' i don't think i'll be able to perform it in front, i will have to do the gag, behind the back load i think!

I watched the DVD and i found it funny when that girl was doing the prep, Richard seemed to just be repeating everything she said in the backround, and the camera man was all over the place. But it was a very detailed DVD and i was suprised how long it was, but he doesn't just skim the surface, he makes sure every detail is covered.

i can't wait to get this trick set up, i brought a cheap-ass pair of trousers from ASDA wal-mart especially for this!

There seems to be a lot of talk on this effect regarding altering clothing such as trousers or footwear.
Can these alterations be done to any type of clothing i.e jeans.
What i mean is do you need a certain type of trousers to perform this effect or can any sort be altered accordingly?

On the dvd he recommends not using jeans, there are certain limitations as to which trousers can be worn for the best effect, recommended are smart trousers or cargo pants... That said there is even a presentation suggestion on the DVD for shorts!

haha, yeah that looked funny, so un-natural, i wouldn't attempt this, i would feel like a bit of a gimp, lol just makes me laugh thinking about it! who the hell bends over like that?

Are you talking about Russel Brand type Jeans?

I don't see why this wouldn't work with baggy jeans, but definetly not tight russel brand jeans.

If you wear loose fit jeans where the bottoms cover your shoes/trainers a bit and the are a bit saggy, then yes.

If you wear the straight cut jeans that are a bit stiffer and not very loose, then you could have problems with some aspects of the trick, but even then it may not be impossible.

But definetly not russel brands!

I've had this effect for ages now but still not set it up due to the... well the set-up!

I love the idea but it seems such a pain in the *rse and the gimmick doesn't suit my style of laces!

Has anyone tried and perfected the velcro method yet? If so can they share their thoughts on if it works well?

Is it possible to get all of the components for this trick without going to magic stores? If so, I would really like to learn how without paying so much for it. Thanks to anyone who wants to help!

sorry mate not the way we do things around here, please check the forum rules if your not shure.
watch the demo and if you feel you will use the trick a lot then buy it fi not give it a miss like i have, invest in magic you will use and you will get much more out of it than if you try to get a cheap knock off version from down the market.
I can tell you how to build a porche 911 for a 1/3 of the cost but it won't be the same or come with instructions on how to get the best from it, do you see were I'm coming from.

Bottom Line is - this effect is incredible and is almost impromtu.

If its your thing then £37 is a fully justified price for what you get.

You can spend £60 on a night out getting hammered and not remember a thing. You can spend £20 on a DVD you watch once and never watch again. You can lose a tenner in a moment of stupidity.

That's £80 lost which serves no purpose. And you're moaning about spending £37 on something which could seal you a reputation and put a smile on many many faces.

... saying that, I sold mine ages ago
