Not so much of a request, but more of a compliment. Of all the forums I have used, this is by far the most helpfull, most friendly and certainly the fastest!

Its lovely to load up the site and be logged in, in a matter of seconds and browsing a few more seconds later!

Huge thank you to the owners, runners, designers and moderators!

Very Pink and Fluffy!
It's true though, I've met a few people through this site who I'm very glad to have met.

good eggs and blockages

Postby VoodooMick » Feb 12th, '08, 00:39

I'd like to add my voice to this thread.
I get the impression that there are a lot of very good eggs on this forum.
And I am glad that I happened to find this forum on my return to magic.
Thank you one and all.
I am looking forward to contributing more in time but I am still having some odd creative blockage around the performance of anything other than readings (and I'm not sure if "performance" ought to be the right verb in that context).
I'm not sure if I'm being very discerning and waiting for the right time and the right context to "work my magic" on people, or I'm just being a pussy.
But back to the thread, I really appreciate this forum for being somewhere to explore and nurture my magical interests.
So "Thanks" :D

shut up everyone!

only kidding, yeah it is nice here, even lomster is bearable

i've had to use another site more often recently, which i've not enjoyed anywhere as near as much as i do here...sometimes i just go "over there" if i fancy a pointless argument...that's quite fun, just to wind someone up if they're being a tool...

anyway - forums are usually what you make of 'em...i've made some good friends from on here, and I'm quite fond of some who i've never met too...aawwwww...

I can't say I've made any friends here as yet - by "friend" I mean someone I talk to regularly about whatever's on my mind, and might send an email to simply to say, "I'm bored - can you help?". People on TM are nice to each other and I've had some very pleasant discussions about magic ... but I've yet to reach the stage of getting to know anyone personally.

I lost a close Internet friend quite recently (last year), but it would be inappropriate to share any details in public. Long story.

I wrote an article several years ago for a university course, about whether the Internet can foster human relationships. I used the newsgroup alt.fan.pratchett for my examples, that being a group I'm familiar with.

Although what has been said here is all so true I think it is far more decent to stay a bit more stiff upper lip about it.

This thread is like Princess di all over again. Outpourings of needless emotions.....some people are trying to eat here!

Sycophantic drivel of the highest order. I am surrounded by lefties. One of the reasons I don’t post anymore there are 1000s of meaningless threads and post I know I have started a few my self. To me tm has lost a lot of its magic. I say bring back copyright.

I am master of misdirection, look over there.

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.

I've only been here for, what, only 1 hour, and I seem to prefer this site to any other magic site on the web. Very friendly people and more tricks than any other. I think I'm gunna like this place.
