Hi Magicman,

It's always nice having members North of the border in our forums (and in case anyone thinks I am being favouritist, we love having people East, West and South of the border too...)

I notice you are a member of the SCA, as you come from Glasgow I wonder if you are also a member of the Glasgow Magic Circle as well? GeoC (their President) is also a member of our humble boards...

Anyway have fun, and enjoy the conversations here. As for the Elmsley count it may be worth doing a search for those very immortal words as they have long been the subject of many a topic, and if I remember rightly much good advice has been given. There also was a link to a website that had some great instructions, no video clip, but some great pictures. Let me know if you can't find it and I will do a search myself.

All the best
Simon

Hello

Postby GeoC » Jul 31st, '04, 23:13

Hi Magicman

Welcome to the forum. If you have only been with SCA 2 years you wont know me I was pressured/pushed out of SCA by the committee as a favour to my ex wife !!!!!!!!.

I took on the presidency of the GMC this year , Alan Duncan gave it up two years ago.

If your interested in these types of forums Paisley Magic Circle has set one up for Scottish Magic not to compete but more to a board with a Scottish flavour.

It can be found at

http://paisleymagiccircle.co.uk/forum/index.php

So all the best and hope to see you around.
