This is my first review so lets see just how tricky it is haha..
The Effect
This isn't the trick you learned in the first magic book you ever bought...
Dan Hauss has discovered a rare peice of *strange* that brilliantly abuses the laws of nature, allowing you to mysteriously and from a distance stop and start the flow of liquid from an innocent bottle of water while your spectator is holding it.
Flow by Dan Hauss allows the performer to suspend water from an upside down water bottle, and can be performed in virtually any setting, making it an easy and perfect addition to every magician's repertoire.
Your spectator actually experiences your mental telekenisis in their own hands. You neve touch the bottle - or the water - throughout the entire effect.
Everything can be immediately examined: the empty bottle, the spectator, you, the water, the street, everything.
FLOW uses a completely original crazy new principle that will leave your spectators thirsty for more
The Cost
$34.95 USD
Difficulty
Prep: 1 out of 5 (can't be done in front of spectators so you have time and the chance to make it perfect)
Performance: 1.5 out of 5 (spectator management is the only concern and the DVD outlines how to handle it accordingly)
Review
This had been hyped up a lot prior to it's release. With an original release date of January, some of us have been waiting a long time to get this. All I can say is, WOW! So simple, but very, very effective. I haven't gotten a chance to test it out yet, but playing around with it yourself is enough fun. I don't think that anyone could know what the gimmick is until purchasing it, but it's pretty impressive. The trick is as you see it, very solid and leaves tons of room for presentational style. I have no complaints about this at all, and see myself using it very often. It is the ideal style of trick for someone like myself who performs mostly for a big group of friends at a party or something like that. Can be used in any venue though.
Overall
10 out of 10. It's a high rating but this is a first class trick. I can't wait to get out to perform it. Not to mention the possibility of being combined with Re-Labelled for those of you who have it. You can use the entire two tricks together, or just part of Labelled to allow the bottle to appear to be taken right out of a vending machine and even opened by the spectator.
A very fantastic effect indeed!
