i did the trick, and when i was done, i washed my hands four times with soap. There was no more of the brown stuff on my index finger or thumb.

i was just wondering if this trick is any way dangerous or life threatening.

it's called the "smoking fingers" trick.

i didn't inhale the smoke, but i smelled it, but to contradict that, i didn't smell anything, it had no smell to me. i didn't sniff the smoke as if i were actually SNIFFING it, i just breathed regularly. i kind of paranoid right now, because a few people said it can cause cancer, and/or something else bad. pleas help.

I'm 16 years old and i live in charlotte, nc.

A lot of things have been claimed to give you cancer. Whatever that is, it can't be good for you.

Yes this stuff stinks, like ewwwwwww.

But i have done this loads of times and BOO im still here. If there was anything really really nasty it wouldnt be allowed in the packaging.

Mind you ..... Ive not been feeling great lat.....................

I did it once

yesterday at about 3 pm.
i have been feeling any different since then, i feel fine.
i was just freaking out yesterday, because after i did the trick, 1 out of every 30 people said it's bad for you.

Proof, if ever it were needed, that stuff like that on youtube needs to be viewed with great suspicion. Perhaps someone with a youtube registration would like to point out these concerns to whoever owns the site these days?

i know alot about chemicals affecting the body.

And the answer is NO. the residue will not cause any form of cancer or anything of that sort as long as the skin on your fingers are intact.

BUT (yes its a big but) dont keep that on your fingers on for long as its very sensitive to heat and should the skin break while its on there is is a possibilty u may get anaphalaxis (swelling) of the region. It wont kill you but it might be uncomfortable

I got it and tried it out, then consigned it to the bin. The reason !! I like my hands clean when performing. When asked to perform I'll often go to the loo and wash my hands beforehand. I'll be bu**ered if I have to go back to the loo again and get rid of the disgusting residue before I get my cards out, cos I'm sure as hell not going to handle them with that stuff on my fingers Shocked
