PENVAN PREDICTO

Postby dat8962 » Oct 16th, '04, 12:50

I'll start off by saying that this trick is exclusive to my local magic shop in Bournemouth. Email me if you want their web address.

The magician makes a written prediction using a smart silver pen which is handed to the spectator for safe keeping. The spectator then selects a card from the deck.

However, when turned around the prediction does NOT predict the chosen card but instead, it states that the pen will vanish. The specator has been holding the pen and when they check, the pen has indeed vanished from their hands and has changed into a pencil.

When examined, the pencil is printed with a message on the side which is the name of the selected card.

Everything is totally examinable!

This was recently shown on Countdown on C4 and I've been using this for a couple of months now and the reactions are sensational! Highly recommended and costs around £15.

I've found this to be a very popular trick and one of the few that I bought during this period that I still use.

I would still recommend it.

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!
