Hi..
I've just recieved my copy of FLRT (the Mendoza Move etc..) and wondered what were the best rubber bands to use and where to get them in the UK. (he recommends #19 but I have no idea what this means !)
Can't wait to get going.. looks awsome !
Thanks..

No 19 is the US reference for a very stretchy elastic band and is the default item for rubber band effects - a bit like Bikes are the default brand of playing cards.
Russ Neidzwicky has a website which sells these as replacements for his 'Pinnacle' rubber band routine and are supposed to be very good indeed. I've been practicing with UK items which seem similar but they aren't as stretchy so perhaps aren't all that good. Check out the older Review postings under Pinnacle and you should find the details. Also check out his Profile for his website etc. and you'll be able to order them from him. Alternatively, if you know anyone in the US who can nip into their local Staples, they might be able to get them for you.

The bands on Russ's site are pretty good for this, although I am not yet convinced there isn't something better. Effectively you want something as thin and as stretchy as possible...
Also ifyou have FLRT then I would also recommend pinnacle just because it makes a nice 3rd phase of the standard pinnacle routine...
