The Effect you show various cards with colorful cartoon characters (pig, dog, cat, duck, turtle and rabbit), an audience member selects a card at raqndom and you magically reveal there selection in a most creative way.

Cost £11 world of magic.

Difficulty 3 more like a 2 with sleights.
(1=easy to do, 2=No sleights, but not so easy, 3=Some sleights used,
4=Advanced sleights used, 5=Suitable for experienced magicians only)

Review
I bought this thinking it was a kids effect, which it can be but the cards suplied are poker sized so would have to be scanned and jumboised a5 at least for a kids show.
that said the cards are well produced and of there own design and comes with a suply of bands, replacements of which can be got from cards for magic.
the acompanying dvd which is dreadfull, filmed mostly on a noisey train, teaches the one sleight needed for some of the tricks taught, 3 in all.
the sleight is easy to pick up and anyone with a basic knowledge of cards will have come across this one despite the background chatter and there are some good tips on selling the effect as well.

Overall 8
apart from the appalling dvd, sorry alan but its bad and without any printed documentation the only thing we have to go on, the props supplied are realy very good and there are several ways you can achieve the effect either by a force, reading the cards or by matching the freely chosen band.
there is a few included ways to reveal the chosen card including using the elastic band to reveal the card, so it is for the props themselves and the imfo on the dvd that gives it a score of 8.
lots of potential, I'm already planning on jumboing the cards and using the silk to frog £8.99 as a missed prediction for my next kids show. :D

ps some might consider theres some exposure of this trick but I have included it and mods please edit if it too much because i think this trick could b easily overlooked and is good value for money considering the special props suplied.
