I think you should appoint people as moderators, not Admins.

Thanks for your input Michael but, as you can see from the date of the postings, this was all discussed well over 12 months ago and has long since been resolved.

But, Mandrake, if you get REALLY desperate, then i am prepared to give up my time to keep the boards tidy, although my social adjender is VERY ( ) busy

Thanks for the offer but things are ticking over nicely as they are at the moment. If we all bear in mind the rules and regulations plus the unspoken but very important aspect of being courteous to each other then all the Mods and Admin crew can probably retire!

I am aware that this was long ago - but there's no hard expressing an opinion.

The reason is very simple, it's the way the forum owner set things up ages ago and was done that way to cater for the amount of time and involvement that he and the Moderators would spend on the Forum. As Administrators, rather than Moderators, there are far more things which can and need to be done so the workload is shared around more fairly. The main point of my reply was to indicate the length of time elapsed since the previous posting in case you thought it was still under current discussion. As always, thanks for your input.
