The Effect
They say: "Now you can do psychic key bending! Show two ordinary house keys (one silver, one brass) LYING FLAT on your outstretched palm. Spectator chooses a key. Performer closes his fist around key & concentrates for a few seconds.
When performer opens his hand the key is BENT AT A 90 DEGREE ANGLE!!
Bent key is 100% examinable, no sleights, key is not switched, nothing concealed in hands, can be learned in 5 minutes. Resets in seconds."

Cost
£12.00 from www.magicbypost.com

Difficulty
(1=easy to do, 2=No sleights, but not so easy, 3=Some sleights used,
4=Advanced sleights used, 5=Suitable for experienced magicians only)

Review
I have had this item for years and seeing as there was no review for it, thought I would add one.
Although this effect is very easy to do, one of the gimmicked keys does not look very convincing so it has to be shown at a certain angle or the game is bound to be given away.
For a very basic effect, maybe for beginners, this is ok for the price but there are better key bending effects available and I was sorely disappointed when I first got it.
The examinable keys look fine but the initial showing of the two keys, prior to the bending look a bit false.

Overall
5/10

I completely agree. The way that you have to place the keys in your hand to show the audience the Keys is awkward and does not make sense. It is a neat idea for a trick, however, it seems to lack in the presentation.

If you can conceal the gimmicked key or just keep it at that same angel it can become a good trick for some beginners. I do agree with you though, because for the price and the effect of the trick there is a lot better out there and a lot more easier effects.
