Finally, a Copper/Silver that really makes sense.

How many people carry an American half dollar or English penny-especially at the same time? Exactly! Get FREAKEY and you'll be ready with a miracle in your pocket anytime, anywhere.

Two distinctly different house keys switch places repeatedly in a flashy five-phase, fast-paced, in-their-face, Monte-type routine-finishing clean in the spectator's tightly-clenched fist.

FREAKEY also includes a dozen more clever and captivating bonus routines by some of magic's key players:
• Paul Harris
• David Acer
• Max Maven
• Mark Jenest
• Danny Archer
• Michael Weber
• Thom Peterson
• David Gripenwaldt
• and John "This-Product-Wouldn't-Be-The-Same-Without-Him" Kennedy.

Freakey comes complete with everything you need: a precision-crafted gimmicked key, an elegant easy-to-open key fob and an instructional DVD with numerous over-the-top, on-the-street performances. Put FREAKEY in one pocket and Hundy 500 in other, and you'll be ready On-The-Spot and Off-The-Cuff.

The keys supplied are of excellent quality and the construction of the special key is explained in the dvd via a factory demo and a short piece to explain why it is more one sided than the other.
11 routines are explained from simple 1 key routines to complex 5 phase sets, 5 turn over moves including the paddle move, 5 reveals, 5 switches, can you see a pattern here.
Plus notes and a bonus footage of street performances, all in all a great set of props and informative dvd explaining all the moves in detail in performance and explanation formats, plus separate sections for the moves themselves, there’s even a key and cup routine similar to a okito box routine.

For myself it’s worth the money and means I can use my colour coins with okito box in the same show doing similar routines without suspicion, my vote 10 /10.

Gregory demonstrated FreaKey in a recent issue of Reel Magic. Not for me, but I thought it was quite an impressive effect to watch. Thanks for the review.

As I never used the coin version because this :

How many people carry an American half dollar or English penny-especially at the same time?

is even weirder if you live in Greece

Is it very simple like the gimmicked key does everything or are some sleights involved ? How would you rate it in the 1 to 5 scale ?

Cheers,

Alex

 the key does 90% of the work for you and all of the moves taught are on the scale of a 1, ie if you can follow the move you can do it, there all explained in good detail both in the routine explanations and seperatly.
there realy is no angle restrictions either, most are done under cover as it were or before anyone expects it to happen.

Do remember to shop around, folks. Dude and World of Magic have this at a whopping £67. I don't think they'll shift many at that price.

I love this routine, I used to use it a lot and it always got great reactions.

I stopped using it as I misplaced the keys for a while but they've now been found and I'll bring it out to play at the next London meet up if you're there (4th April one)

I carry these everywhere, as they blend in perfect for impromtu magic..

At partys or functions there a prop which everyone knows and understands..

Freaky is a perfect name for the perfect effect..

10/10 for Greg Wilson on this

I know I'm bringing up an old post, but I just got this today.

Just something I picked up was that Greg's presentations, really didn't fit well with me,
On one of the bonus performances, the one in the restaurant, he says...
"You'll catch me this time."

I really dislike when magicians set up competition against the audience - if that guy doesn't catch him, he's going to feel stupid, if he does, he'll think Greg is a poor magician.
Also all that talk of money, give me your credit card, etc etc... That would make me very uncomfortable if someone said that to me.

I just get the impression that he is making people look stupid, rather than making them the star of the show, making them feel great. I've looked back on 'On the Spot' and thought back to when I met him at a lecture, and a similar story seems to be unfolding, in some but not all of his performances.

I know we all have different styles of performing, but for me - I'm not a trickster, a con-artist, and I don't want to 'fool' people - to make them a fool. I am a magician, I do magic. Simple as that.

Saying that, the effect is great, very commercial, I will use it, but with a completly different presentation to what is suggested on the dvd.
Ed.

same here Iv'e used this set with diferent coper /silver routines often going on a key bend with a give away which helps take the heat off the keys.

gregs teaching is squarely set at the american market, so we have to make an adjustment for us in the uk. :D
